The Redwood Lip Dub

Back when “lip dubs”, (long lip synced videos with lots of people) were the hip and happening thing to do on the internet in 2013, my high school made one as well. Come my senior year (2017), I had to organize one too. This was the biggest project I have ever directed, with only two weeks to coordinate for over 2000 students and staff and only time for one real take of the whole thing. No practice time. The school learned about it only days before we shot. After hours upon hours of work the day finally came and it went...

…ok-ish.

This project was such a huge undertaking for just two other students and myself to be working on and coordinate for the entire school with practically no time, but it was one of the greatest learning experiences about patience, logistics, collaboration, and timing that I have ever had. If you really want to see it, you can check it out on youtube here.
